On Monday, Dr Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism for the state of Baden-Württemberg, visited us to find out more about our work in the qualification networks as part of her themed trip ‘Continuing vocational training in Baden-Württemberg’.
In a qualification network, several companies with similar challenges in personnel development join forces in order to achieve various synergies. In addition to the Hohenstein qualification network, AMANN is also represented in the ‘Next level Textil’ young talent programme with the textile companies Olymp Bezner, Hero Textil and Rich and Royal.
The aim of the ‘Next Level Textile’ young talent programme is to retain young talents in the companies, initiate a cross-company exchange of experience and strengthen the interdisciplinary skills of the participants.
‘We have a success story to report here today. The ‘Next Level Textile’ qualification network will continue to exist after the end of the subsidised project period from 2019 to 2023 and has successfully taken the step towards becoming an independent network. The network has set itself the goal of training promising young talents to become the managers of tomorrow. At the same time, the aim is to prepare long-serving employees for the working world of tomorrow. Both are only possible with professional development,’ emphasised Dr Hoffmeister-Kraut.
Our CSO Mr Westerkamp emphasised to Minister Dr Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut: ‘Attractive jobs and the qualification of employees are a key issue in the textile industry - we have to work at all levels to create textile future viability. The qualification alliances are an important milestone for corporate practice.
