From 26 to 27 September the project "FUTURE FASHION at School" ended with a youth summit on the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations (SDG). The summit was titled: "FUTURE FASHION AT SCHOOL: We can make a difference".
The event focused on conscious consumption and sustainable textiles.
In addition to interesting speeches, the summit included a variety of workshops, lectures, exhibitions and a supporting program, which included theatre, music and movie. Furthermore, the results of the participating schools of "FUTURE FASHION at School" have been presented.
The apprentices of the AMANN Group had their own information booth and participated in the workshops!
The Hanns A. Pielenz Foundation already sponsored the previous project called "Global Learning" in 2018. Within this project, students from ten schools were trained in sustainable fashion consumption (one of the 17 SDGs) and motivated to start their own sustainable fashion projects.
It was a logic step that the Hanns A. Pielenz foundation also supported the youth summit!
Thanks to all participants for this wonderful and inspiring event!
